Walter has 1200 m² of workspace spread across 12 studios in two renovated warehouses in Kuregem. Quality, sustainability, long term. Good space for uncommonly good work. 24 artists, designers and makers work here. Their everyday experimentation builds the practice.

The spaces

The workspaces are suitable for artists, makers, designers and creative professionals, with a focus on textile, graphic arts, visual art, woodworking, video, animation, drawing, painting and design.

All spaces have natural daylight, adapted lighting, acoustic and thermal insulation, heating and access control. In the shared areas, you'll find coffee and tea, chilled still and sparkling water, and encounters with other artists, musicians and visitors. Meeting room, production studio or recording space bookings are available at a reduced rate.

Twice a year, the studios open their doors to the public.

Rates and conditions

Monthly prices for a studio at Walter start from €10 excl. VAT/m². The most comfortable studios go up to €13.50 excl. VAT/m².
We work with open-ended agreements, with a 3-month notice period. No deposit required.

  • internet connection (2.5 gig/sec)
  • electricity, gas and water
  • weekly maintenance and cleaning of shared areas
  • coffee, tea, still and sparkling water
  • secure bicycle parking

Available studios

Woodworking studio - 90 m2

Ground floor, 90 m² (with possibility of expansion), to be shared with an active furniture maker with a full-time practice.
In mutual agreement with the current user, certain machines and tools may be shared.
