Na de radiohits 'Baby's In The World', 'Fire' en 'August' in de jaren negentig besliste Pieter-Jan De Smet om voortaan als PJDS te gaan optreden en platen maken. Op zijn eigen label Beuzak bracht hij nog drie platen uit (2002: 'Light Sleeper' / 2003: 'Suits You' / 2011: 'Homebrew') en in 2005 verscheen een compilatie genaamd 'Away From God And Far From The Action'.

Na omzwervingen doorheen projecten allerhande werd het in 2018 hoog tijd voor een nieuwe PJDS-plaat. Siren werd opgenomen met Teun Verbruggen, Mirko Banovic, Roland Van Campenhout en Frederik Segers en met diezelfde muzikanten, aangevuld met Gilles Vandecaveye-Pinoy ging PJDS de AB te lijf. De dikke 4-sterren HUMO recensie na hun concert in de AB bevestigt: live is PJDS nog straffer dan op plaat.

Bovendien zat het viertal niet stil in het rampzalige 2020 en werd een opvolger voor Siren opgenomen. Dat nieuwe repertoire hoort u in Walter.

Werkplaats Walter is inviting you for a new series of Safe 'N Sounddays. Two Sundays a month, from January till June 2021, you'll discover a selection of fine solo projects and duos in jazz, free impro and classical music.

Due to COVID19 we will organise an online streaming of all the Walter-concerts between January and the end of May 2021.It's Walter's way to open up your ears and relaunch safe and intimate live concerts in 2021. By buying a ticket for this concert (series) or the streaming, you are directly supporting all musicians envolved.

A subscription for the full streaming service is available for 25 EUR, for at least 15 concert streamings (all available untill the end of June 2021). For practical reasons it's not possible to buy a ticket for a single live streaming.
