orchestra nazionale della luna

Manuel Hermia – sax & flute
Kari Ikonen – piano & moog
Sébastien Boisseau – bass
Teun Verbruggen – drums

Orchestra Nazionale della Luna is preparing it's third trip and third album at Werkplaats Walter. The ONDLL crew - Finnish keyboardist Kari Ikonen, French bass player Sébastien Boisseau and the two Belgians, Teun Verbruggen on drums and Manu Hermia on saxes and bansuri - is back on duty. The group immerses us in a fascinating world that mixes plenitude and chaos, Middle Eastern colours and jazz with floating particles in full deconstruction, illustrating that humanity has reached a turning point. Their contrasting sound paintings evoke sometimes the crystalline sea and weightlessness, sometimes the melting ice caps and desertification.

ONDLL will work on this new material during a short residency and show us the result this exclusive evening before flying back home.
